Reverend Harry Cooper Jr.of Southeast Community Presbyterian Church is Chair of the Commission on Gang Prevention and Intervention.   Before coming to Southeast Community Presbyterian Church, Reverend Cooper was on the national staff of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in Atlanta, and with the National Rainbow Coalition. A founding member of Black Men United, an advocacy organization in Southeastern San Diego, Rev. Cooper has served on the City Human Relations Commission, is on the Board of Directors of the Urban League and is founding member of the Holly Drive Leadership Academy Charter School and the Vital Link Family Center.
