CONFERENCE INFO
This one and a half day summit, sponsored by San Ysidro Health Center, brings together a number of distinguised speakers known for their accomplishments in the area of Latino health research, health policy development and service delivery. The primary goals of this Leadership Summit are twofold: first, to increase the community's understanding of the key issues influencing the health and well-being of Latinos; and secondly, to provide a community-based forum to explore the "best practices" for delivering quality health services in a respectful and culturally proficient manner. It will also provide and update to all attendees on current demographics and health disparities of Latino populations.
