CASA ( Coordinated, Assistance, Services and Advocacy ) is a Coordinated Services Center dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for people living with HIV / AIDS and for their families.

We recognize that learning to live with HIV / AIDS can be challenging, which is why CASA offers a comprehensive array of quality HIV services in a caring, supportive environment where guests can feel at home, amongst friends and family.

CASA’s mission is to provide a continuum of culturally sensitive medical, social and supportive services that enhance the health of and enrich the quality of life for people living with HIV / AIDS, and that of their families.”

Programs and Services
Coordinated Services Center ( 3045 Beyer Boulevard, Suite D101, San Diego, CA 92154 )
CASA is a one-stop shop for HIV services where information is offered in a warm, home-like setting which promotes social interaction and encourages recreational activities. CASA offers assistance and linkages to HIV medical care and treatment, and provides application assistance to a variety of programs including Ryan White and The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). CASA is open Monday -Thursday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  For more information please call 619.662.4161

HIV Medical Care
CASA offers access to HIV medical care at SYHC’s main clinic in San Ysidro, located at 4004 Beyer Boulevard.  Services include clinical treatment, education, dental and pharmacy services. Our HIV specialists provide services Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Case Management
CASA’s Case Management Team assists with navigating the HIV care system, including linkages to HIV medical care, medications, housing, food, transportation and other social services.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling 
CASA’s Counseling Service provides individual, couples, family and group counseling for CASA’s HIV-positive clients, including relapse prevention and early recovery therapy.

HIV Prevention & Testing Services
CASA’s Prevention Services strive to reduce the spread of HIV through individual and group services and provide access to HIV Testing with same-day results.  Confidential testing is available at SYHC main clinic on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Spanish Support Groups

Support group, Nueva Vida, a Spanish-speaking group which meets every Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM is open to men and women living with HIV/AIDS, as well as their families.

Art Group meets every Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and is also open for CASA clients and their families.

Women’s Group meets every Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and is open to women living with HIV / AIDS.
